You're tired of feeling disconnected — from yourself and from the world around you

It's like no matter what you try, the stress, heaviness, and sense of being "stuck" just won't let go.

Nature-Based Therapy is a holistic, evidence-informed approach that works with the healing power of natural environments — trees, ocean, open sky — to support emotional regulation, trauma recovery, and nervous system restoration. Rather than sitting in an office, sessions take place outdoors, where the sensory richness of nature becomes part of the therapeutic process. Nature is our co-therapist and we look to Her for wisdom around transitions, loss or a secure attachment enhancing resource as Nature is always there for us.

Sessions are paced to your comfort and needs. We begin with simple grounding practices — noticing the earth beneath your feet, the sounds around you, your breath — before moving into deeper reflective or somatic work. We typically meet in Kitsilano or Pacific Spirit Part but special requests may be accommodated.

KIND WORDS

  • "Lucia is a skilled clinician who is deeply committed to her own personal and professional work. I am always confident when sending referrals to her because she is so attuned to her clients and has such warmth and empathy for them."

    — Colette Mrazek, RCC-ACS

  • I've seen Lucia biweekly (or more often if needed) for 4 years now and can vouch that her work is incredible. As with any therapist, their job isn't to fix you, but to give you the space and tools to find your own way -- Lucia does this exceptionally. I was devastated after terrible life changes and grief and loss and couldn't see a way out, but I'm happy to say 4 years later I still look forward to our sessions and each and every time I learn and grow.
